The System for Award Management (SAM) is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS.  IdentiFlo allows EVS clients to screen individuals and entities against the active exclusion records of those that are excluded from receiving certain federal assistance, benefits, or contracts. 

Screening against SAM exclusions is essential for companies that hold Federal contracts and need to screen subcontractors that will work on the federal contract, as well as any company associated with federal assistance or benefits programs that need to screen participants. 

As with other Watch Lists in the IdentiFlo Management Platform, EVS clients have multiple methods of screening against the list of SAM exclusions.  Watch list screening can be performed as a separate request or as an integrated component to any EVS identity verification solution, and with either approach screening can be performed manually within IdentiFlo, as part of a batch process, or integrated into existing processing using the IdentiFlo API.
