Louisville, KY- (02/13/2015) Electronic Verification Systems (EVS) has announced the addition of multi-source verification to the IdentiFraud International identity verification solution. This enhancement is geared towards making IdentiFraud International compliant with European Union (EU) anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.
The Money Laundering Regulations 2007 in the UK and other legislation associated with the 3rd European Money Laundering Directive require enhanced customer due diligence in situations where a customer is not physically present for identification purposes. By matching consumer data to multiple sources and identifying the type of data source utilized for verification, IdentiFraud International will assist businesses in meeting the multi-source component of this enhanced due diligence requirement.
